Emily's Profile

My name is Emily and I am new to the JBLM area! I live with my husband and our German Shepherd, Nobu, and love pretty much anything that has to do with the outdoors. I come from a large family and I think that children are some of the best people to hang out with. I have lots of experience with a wide range of ages, lifeguard classes with teens, swimming lessons with elementary, babysitting and nannying with infants and toddlers.

Outside of childcare I have had experience in Leasing, Aquatics Safety, Sales, Revenue Administration, and I am currently working at a flower shop.
In my free time I enjoy working out, enjoying outdoor sports/activities, painting, pottery, reading, and thrifting.

A couple of goals I would like to accomplish in the next few years is to go back to school to get my Teaching Degree in Elementary Education, learn how to make stained glass as a new hobby, and work on my cooking/baking skills.

I would describe myself as kind, gentle, understanding and giving.
